COMIT SYSTEMS JOINS LATTICE CONSULTANTS PROGRAM Santa Clara, California -- (BUSINESS WIRE) January 18, 2002: Comit Systems has joined the Lattice Consultants Program of Lattice Semiconductor Corp. The program is designed to tap the resources of independent engineering consulting houses, and provides training, software, and support to member consultants. Lattice announced its acquisition of the FPGA business of Agere Systems earlier today. The transaction includes Agere's general-purpose ORCA® FPGA product portfolio, its field programmable system chip (FPSC) product portfolio and all related software design tools.
